Australia’s longest running play is turning 25!
On 5th January 2019, ‘The Ship That Never Was’ will be performing it’s 25th anniversary performance at the Strahan Primary School, where it began it’s long run on Tasmania’s west coast.
Written and directed by Tasmanian playwright, Richard Davey, the play tells the story of 10 convict shipwrights, from the Macquarie Harbour Penal Settlement on Sarah Island, who stole the last ship built at the settlement and made their escape to Chile.
This fun, interactive, family entertainment is not to be missed! Come and join our celebrations on 5th January 2019!
