Opened in late 2005, Marsden Court is the latest project of the McDermott family, pioneers of Strahan’s tourism industry and operated by locals who are passionate about this area and its history. The eight modern studio self contained apartments feature air conditioning, are spacious and have their own private balconies. All apartments are ground floor and there is one designated disabled studio apartment available also.
The four fully self contained two-bedroom apartments also have air conditioning and cater for families and larger groups. There are two apartment with a queen bed and three single beds, another apartment with two queen beds and a single bed and one apartment with a queen bed and four single beds.
For guest’s convenience there is a communal laundry and an internet kiosk. Indoor games are available, DVD’s and DVD players are either in your room or available free from reception. Free Wi-Fi is available in all apartments and portable gas barbecues are available for guests use.
Marsden Court is a green accredited property set in landscaped gardens and is close to all attractions that Strahan and this unique World Heritage area has to offer.

There are eight spacious studio apartments with a queen bed and a single sofa bed. There are two apartments with a queen bed and a single bed and one apartment has a king bed. Each has its own balcony area with table and chairs. Kitchen facilities consist of hotplates and a microwave. All have climate controlled heating and cooling and are ground floor with easy access with their own parking bay adjacent to the unit.
2 Bedroom Apartment
The two bedroom apartments are all individual units with a carport and additional parking area as well as an outside dining set. All have full kitchen facilities with a separate bathroom with a walk in shower and a separate toilet. Two of the apartments have a queen and three single beds and one apartment has a two queen beds and one single bed. There is also one apartment with a queen and four single beds. All have climate controlled heating and cooling and are spacious and perfect for families.
Disabled Access Studio Apartment
The Disabled Access Studio apartment is the same as the other studio apartments but has a designated bathroom with all the necessary facilities required for the wheelchair or mobility impaired travelers. This studio has a queen bed and a single bed and has kitchen facilities and an outside balcony area with a table and chairs and parking is right at the door.
