Winter is a beautiful time to visit the Cradle Coast and experience some of the finest displays of Tasmanian nature. In winter months, you can witness snow on Cradle mountain and other surrounding areas. The snow in the mountains typically shows up after a cool rainstorm at sea level and drapes itself over the region's alpine areas and gorgeous Cradle hinterland.
